Background
Paul is former Vice Chair Debt Capital Markets of Credit Suisse. His 30 year career in the firm’s international capital markets business spanned senior origination and management roles, with a particular focus on emerging markets. Paul is now engaged at the intersection of impact finance, capital markets and fintech.
Paul is Senior Advisor to Blue Haven Initiative, a family office investing for competitive returns and positive social and environmental change, Zeal Capital, which invests in tech enabled early stage businesses addressing wealth and skills gaps, and Resilience VC a venture firm investing in embedded fintech start ups.
Paul has served on the Board of Accion, a global non profit committed to financial inclusion, and was Chair of the Advisory Council of the Center for Financial Inclusion.
Paul obtained his law degree from Downing College, University of Cambridge and then practiced international financial law in London and Hong Kong.
