Christin Price

VP of Finance

Background

Christin is Ezra’s VP of Finance. She has a decade of experience leading strategy, finance, and operations functions at venture-backed companies, ranging from pre-seed to Series D. She credits her strong quantitative foundation to her early career as an economic consultant supporting RMBS litigation. In 2016, Christin joined the tech ecosystem as a co-founder of Neat Capital and then an early employee at Point; both startups focused on reinventing the residential mortgage experience. In 2018, Christin made her second career pivot, moving from fintech to SaaS. She joined a B2B business intelligence and analytics platform called Mode as the first finance hire. During her tenure, she grew the finance org to a team of four, led four annual planning cycles, raised $57M, and was promoted to executive leadership.

In 2021, Christin decided to explore climate by way of a full-time MBA at UC Berkeley Haas. During her first year, she served as President of the interdisciplinary 1,000 member energy and resources club “BERC” and consulted for four climate tech startups. After spending the summer interning at Stow Energy, an Otherlab spinout focused on decarbonizing thermal loads in the home, she left grad school to help Stow raise its seed round.

For fun, Christin spends her time leading TREES, an organization focused on strengthening the community of Tahoe and Reno-based energy and climate professionals. With a favorite sport for each season in the Sierra, most days you can find Christin recreating in the mountains in her backyard.
